The Art and Culture of Wine
ArteVino Museum
The Razzano ArteVino Museum was inaugurated in 2009nd is located in the Castle’s internal courtyard. Our guests and visiting groups are invited to peruse the Museum and then to join a tasting of the classic wines of the Estate.
The ArteVino Museum was conceived, planned and executed by artist Silvio Manzotti. The exhibition is characterized by many artworks which have absorbed the objects on display in lively installations, some of which are nearly hidden. The tour winds around four principal spaces.
The Museum is located in the Castle’s ancient winemaking cellars, which, thanks to scrupulous restoration and architectural renovation, have been returned to their original splendor; high vaulted ceilings, original brick and building elements of the Monferrato past.
One enters the Museum via the Castle’s main doors, and once in the courtyard a sign to the right will indicate the direction to follow.
The Museum can be experienced as a learning tour as well as an artist event. There are no fewer than twenty installations, small and large, specially illuminated for day and night visits.
