Within the castle walls there are historical
wine cellars where unique architecture has been preserved
and some of the most noteworthy wines are aged.
The winery produces more than 200,000 bottles annually
which come exclusively from their own vineyards, of
that more than 30% goes to the international market.
The vineyards of Razzano Castle have excellent exposure
to the sun, with soil composition that is mainly made
up of limestone and clay, which is the most suitable
for clones and rootstock, ensuring the exclusive quality
of the grapes.
Grape harvesting is done manually after the grape bunches
have been carefully thinned out in the summer months
of July and August in order to achieve the maximum concentration
of sugars and polyphenol maturation.
The goal is to obtain the most tasty and genuine product
by using suitable agricultural techniques in the vineyards
while using advanced technologies without adding chemicals
to the product during the production phase, therefore
ensuring a great quality product which is also affordable.
